These are the major steps of our refurbishing process.

Configuration removal & cleaning
All passwords and configuration data is removed.

Testing
The standard test procedure is to verify that all ports can forward real traffic. Every port (Ethernet, E1, E3, ISDN, RS232, ATM, POTS, Token Ring etc) is configured and tested in our lab.

Packaging
All our products are delivered in customized high quality packaging to ensure safe delivery and the feeling of a "new product". We use packaging design software tools to find the optimum solution between shock absorption and package volume. Most of our packaging is designed to protect the product from dropheights of of 75cm (2.5ft), and the volume is below or near the IATA volume charge for airfreight (167kg/m^3, 10.5lb/ft^3) to minimize freight charges due to dimensional weight. Components sensitive to static electric charges are packaged in shielded antistatic bags. Below are some examples of the packages we have designed and produced.
